We are pleased to present this new page of RBZ, totally redesigned, aiming to increase access to our collection of articles and reviews, as well as proceedings of annual meetings of the Brazilian Society of Animal Science
As the research landscape has evolved dramatically over the past 10 years with new technologies and increasingly diverse research ecosystems, we are now using a broader group of metrics, capturing various parts of impact a paper or work can have, named Altmetrics which are non-traditional bibliometrics proposed as an alternative or complement to more traditional citation impact metrics, such as impact factor and h-index.
We have facilitated access to our social network and articles can now be commented on by readers, representing a breakthrough in the traditional review process.
The disclosure of the most searched keywords and most accessed articles, as well as the search for issues and areas of knowledge served by RBZ, facilitate the navigation in the site
We thank the support of the academic community that believes in the evolution of the Brazilian Journal of Animal Science and its contribution to science. Comments are very welcome for us to continue to improve that contribution
